Customer Service Employee

Cleve & Zonen has been a reliable partner in the logistics chain for 90 years. Groupage (LCL) and full containers (FCL) are daily business for us. We are strong in sea freight, but also in air freight. In addition, Cleve & Zonen offers other services, such as import nomination, storage and distribution, customs matters and insurance. Through 60 direct ports of call, we serve over 700 destinations worldwide. We work in an informal atmosphere where there is room for a healthy dose of ambition.

For our export groupage department we are looking for an Employee Customer Service.

Job description:

• issuing quotes to customers and agents worldwide;
• following up on orders and ensuring timely and accurate handling;
• Maintaining international contacts with our agents and customers throughout Europe;
• providing excellent customer service and resolving any problems that may arise;
• answering customer inquiries via phone and email;
• Working with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction;
• ensuring correct administrative handling of customer data and orders.

Your Profile:

• a completed MBO level 3 education;
• experience in a comparable function within the logistics sector is a plus;
• excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• service-oriented attitude with an eye for detail;
• good numerical insight and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• proactive and solution-oriented work attitude;
